Privacy Policy
The short version
We collect what the product needs to work and nothing else. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We have never run an ad network on this property and have no plans to.
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete it, at any time, by emailing privacy@nosebleedsportsmedia.com.
What we collect, and why
| Email address and account handle | To create and sign you into your account, and to attach the passes you buy to the right person. Handled by Clerk. |
| Purchase and pass status | To know which picks you are entitled to see. We record which product you bought and when it expires. We never see or store your card details. |
| In-app bets and unit balance | The bet tracker is a scoring game played in units, not money. We store your selections so the leaderboard and your record work. |
| Friends and groups | If you add a friend or join a group, we store that link so shared leaderboards work. |
| Game results | Trivia, Higher or Lower and Guess the Player scores, so daily results and rankings persist. |
| Push notification token and preferences | Only if you turn notifications on. The token identifies a device, not a person, and you can revoke it in your phone settings. |
| Mailing list email address | Only if you subscribe. Kept separately from your account and removable independently. We are not sending a regular mailing right now; the list is held for when we do. |
| Product analytics | Which screens get opened and which features get used, so we know what to build. Identified by an opaque account id only. |
What we deliberately do not collect
Our analytics never receive your email address, your name, or your phone number. Events are attached to an opaque account identifier, which is meaningless outside our own systems. That is a deliberate constraint in the code, not a policy we ask people to remember.
We do not collect your location. We do not read your contacts. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and the app ships with no advertising SDK of any kind.
We never take payment card details. Checkout is hosted entirely by our payments provider and card data never reaches our servers.
Who processes your data
These are the only third parties that handle it, and each does one job:
| Clerk | Accounts and sign-in. |
| Whop | Payments and subscription status. They handle card data; we do not. |
| Supabase | The database your account, passes, bets and scores live in. |
| Vercel | Hosting for the website and API. |
| Resend | Email: holds the mailing list, and sends account emails such as a purchase claim link. |
| PostHog | Product analytics, on an opaque account id. |
| Expo | Push notification delivery and app updates. |
| Google Workspace | Hosts our support and billing mailboxes, so it holds anything you email us. |
| Discord | Only if you choose to link it. Linking is optional and never required to buy or use a pass. |
Sports data comes from public providers. Those requests carry no information about you.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU, the UK, or California, you have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone rather than checking your address first.
Email privacy@nosebleedsportsmedia.com from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your profile, bets, game results, friendships and push registrations. We keep a minimal record of completed purchases where tax and accounting law requires it, and nothing else.
Mailing list
Subscribing is separate from having an account, and unsubscribing does not affect your account or your passes. We are not sending a regular mailing at the moment. If that changes, every message will carry an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, and you can remove yourself at any time before then.
Children
Nosebleed Sports is not directed at children and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who processes it, we update the date at the top and, for material changes, tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
